At AAPS Nabha we believe that a child is a whole being with pancha koshas or five sheaths. So,we focus on all the five layers of development in a child.

Here at AAPS Nabha we have a special educator who caters to the needs of special children.

1. Annamaya Kosha (Physical Sheath): This is the outermost layer and represents the physical body. It is composed of the physical elements and is responsible for sensory experiences and interactions with the external world. It includes the bones, muscles, organs, and the entire physical structure.

2. Pranamaya Kosha (Vital Sheath): The Pranamaya Kosha is related to the vital energy or life force that animates the physical body. It includes the breath, circulation, and other vital functions. This layer is responsible for the physiological processes that sustain life.

3. Manomaya Kosha (Mental Sheath): This layer pertains to the mind and emotions. It encompasses thoughts, feelings, desires, and mental processes. The Manomaya Kosha is responsible for the cognitive and emotional aspects of a child’s existence.

4. Vijnanamaya Kosha (Intellectual Sheath): The Vijnanamaya Kosha represents the intellect and higher wisdom. It is associated with discernment, reasoning, and the ability to differentiate between right and wrong. This layer is responsible for abstract thinking and higher-level understanding in a child.

5. Anandamaya Kosha (Bliss Sheath): The innermost layer is the Anandamaya Kosha, which is often interpreted as the source of pure bliss and joy. It is beyond ordinary emotions and represents a state of profound happiness and contentment. This layer is said to connect with the universal consciousness.
