ABOUT AAPS NABHA

Airawat army primary school, Nabha was established on 01 Jan, 1979. It was then known as ‘Shishu Vihar’. Later on, 29th June 1982, it was redesignated as “Army Primary school” and since Nov 2011 has been known as Airawat Army Primary School, Nabha”

The school is affiliated with PSEB and is governed by Army welfare education society (AWES). It is a premier institution for primary education in Nabha. The school can boast of a well equipped smart class, computer lab, activity lab, geographical park, library, sand pit , resource room, herbal garden, wellness room, puddle, herbarium & Puppet show stage.

Present strength of the school is 218 of which 143 are defense wards and 75 are civilian wards

Presently, the school has classes from pre- school to class V. To ensure that the school is in sync with ever evolving technological environment, classes have been upgraded to “smart classes” since the year 2018. It has adopted to new NCF policy fully and has new integrated art along with latest technology for teaching methods according to NEP 2020. Besides providing good education, the school makes an effort for the all- round development of the students.
